Carrier settings issue

I have a factory unlocked, un-jailbroken iPhone 4 with O2 Ireland. On the last two occasions I have travelled to the UK, when I returned to Ireland and switched my phone back on in the airport, it had lost the carrier settings and I could not use the phone until I restored them. I'm just wondering if anyone else has come…

I travel to the UK on a regular basis, and this has never happened before.
