Hi there. I have an apartment which had a huge amount of mould and condensation in it. I have bought expensive powerful dehumidifier. I am dry lining/ insulating the interior of external walls as that is where all the mould grows and I have changed glass to 'a' energy rated. Got rid of aluminium patio door & put a Pvc door in instead. I am hoping that all these steps will help. My question is what flooring to put down. Carpet (which may retain water) or wooden floor (which may get ruined if mould returns) I know a better ventilation system may help but affording that at the moment is another matter.
