    Wouldn't be surprised, Clontarf Rugby club is also a cricket club so he probably played a fair bit during his teens, I know a lot of lads play cricket during the summer when the Rugby season is off. He's just one of those people who's a natural at most sports.

    UCD is his club, not blackrock. He is from clontarf so he might have played a bit

    Yea he played rugby in Clontarf till he was 16.

    I was expecting to see him having a few balls lashed at him and playing a few nice strokes or something. To be honest, if one of our rugby internationals couldn't smack a ball that is lobbed gently to him a few times I'd be deeply concerned about his hand eye coordination!
