Anywhere in Dublin City Centre I can take plastic and glass?

I will have 3 or 4 bags of glass and plastic in Dublin City Centre which I would like to dispose of correctly next week. Using a residential green bin is not an option, and that's if they are even in the city centre.

Does anyone know of a 'bring bank' I think they are called? Will be passing through Dublin 1, but if possible, Dublin 2 would be more convenient.

Also, if there is a charge please advise.

Here's a link that lets you search for recycling facilities by area or by material. I had a quick look and couldn't see glass facilities in Dublin 2 but there are bound to be some near by - would Dublin 8 be an option (the Christchurch end)? I think I've seen some in that area.

I will be coming from Ranelagh, and then getting a bus into town which I could either get off in Dublin 1 or Dublin 2.

I find it amazing there's nowhere in the city centre D1/D2 :(
