Needed BluRay player /amp (we have speakers and 5.1 analogue only in, so no good except for the big speakers) Needs to have at least also 2 x HMDI in so you don't need a separate HDMI switch box 2 x optical (or RCA digital coax) in (Some things only do surround on digital audio, not HDMI) 1 x analogue L +R, two is better.…

Needed

except no HDMI source switching. We can ditch the toy speakers.

Something like it with 2 x extra HMDI in so TV picture switched with sound source (and selectable, i.e. one optical in is from TV RF tuner sound)
