Thats what we sound like right now with an ipod recording us and no drummer.

We have a lot of originals put together, albeit more fleshed out than the samples above and are interested in recording/gigging. Finding it rather hard to get off the ground to do either of those things without a drummer/someone who can program beats even.

Anyway, influences are varied... but mainly new-age stuff like Battles, Passion Pit, Mogwai and some electronic stuff like Justice, Daft Punk, Digitalism and what not. Lots of OST soundtrack stuff from movies and games is a big influence too along with a lot of post-rock/electronic from Japan. Basically the tastes are broad and do not tell you much about what we are like, but I hope the above samples speak for themselves in terms of direction. Its not songs-about-the-weekend or laptop music.. but it definitely emulates the latter at times.

I used to play drums so i have an idea of what kind of drummer we would like, we can supply a drumkit and a place to practice but we are not really looking for the indie/metal/classic-rock influence.. Contemporary, forward-thinking kind of thing would be nice.

Anyway, thanks for reading this far.. and if any of the above sounds like your thing, dont hesitate to PM me and ask more, we are getting bored waiting around and are pretty serious by now, if you are even just on the tech side of things and are good at making up beats digitally, then we are down to brown with that too.

    Thanks :)
