I am looking for a decent roadbike for the summer, sub 8kg weight so carbon or light alloy. Hoping for Shimano Ultegra or Sram Rival components. You get the picture. It has to be 50cm in a standard frame or about 46cm compact, depending on manufacturer of course. I am looking at the 2010 Boardman Team Carbon and at €1250 it seems great value, but I would add a few quid for a 2nd hand premium bike.

Got a Team carbon 2 weeks back (medium frame 53cm) and have to say it is fantastic. You'd need to get onto Halfords straight away as they have just introduced the 2011 model with a lower spec, .5kg heavier and €400 more expensive:eek:

Spot on, there seems to be 1 left in the country in my size so I have decided to go for it. I have just spoken to Halfords and the build has started!!
