Hi Just wondering if someone could help me out here, if i lose my rent book is it my responsibility or the landlords to get a new one, and could you give me a link to this as i am unable to find one.

you lost it you replace it...its all of €2 if that in any shop how the hell did you manage to loose your rent book :)
