diesel struggling to start???

    Hi, I have a 05 seat leon 1.9tdi which is getting it hard to start 75% of the time. For some reason stamping on the accelerator (sometimes repeatedly) gets her going again...

    Any idea what the problem is?

    It could be the fuel pump.
    I had a petrol Leon with the same problem.
    In the petrol when you turn on the ignition you can hear the pump whirring. It is located under the back seat. You should investigate that.

    If you have VCDS (vagcom) check for any faults and you can probably check the pump using that
