'Young people' employment law

I'm 17 and will be this summer, In the eyes of the Irish law, people aged 16 to 17 are young people and can work 40 hour weeks at 70% of minimum wage.

But, I was wondering, can young people work in pubs, etc. and if so, what work can they do there.... Presumably they can't prepare alcoholic drinks?

Any help/advice on the subject is appreciated because I'm looking into a summer job.

I don't know if it's legal or not but I've known people who were 17 to be working in bars, but all they were allowed to do was collect glasses and clean up.
