He wrote this article last Monday

Irregardless of how people feel about Mac's, he does make some good points.. and he's very witty while doing it.

Yea I read that. I just think that the impact of his diatribe would have been lessened if the audience knew he owned an iPad. I think the conan one posted yesterday was much cleverer and funnier.

Tosser. This anti-intellectualism/anti-technology pisses me off, when the advances in computer technology have been so great, and Apple, whether you like them or not, have been at the forefront of it.

But hey, if you can piss on one of the most innovative companies around for a cheap laugh, why not.

    I'm with Louis CK...

He's such a hypocrit, it's like writing a tract on how pornography demeans women while referencing your favourite porn sites.

He does make a great point regarding the HDMI accessory cable though. I remember thinking how ridiculous it was during the keynote.

They must only have been at the forefront of making eye-candy technology.

The real work has been done by the likes of Microsoft

I wouldn't necessarily say Microsoft now, but I do agree that Apple can't really be credited with being at the forefront of technology.

They make great consumer products with great usability, but that's it.

Can't watch that Charlie Brooker link cos it says Channel 4 have blocked the content on copyright grounds - I'm in the UK and whoami confirms this... Guess I'll try to find it on 4OD or wait till I'm home and (hopefully) watch it on my new iPad...
