IMDb not rendering correctly..

    Anyone else have problems viewing IMDb over the last few days?

    Appears as if their CSS files and images aren't loading properly.

    I'm hoping it's not just me.. but for such a massive site, I'd be suprised if this problem has been ongoing for so long.

    Hmm, odd..

    .. seems I'm not the only one with the problem though!

    Tried it on Safari, Firefox & Chrome - same thing!

    Fine here using Opera.

    Have you tried clearing your cache to see if that helps?

    As per a suggestion from this bloke's Twitter, seems to be a DNS issue.

    So I changed my DNS addresses to OpenDNS, and seemed to fix it!

    Heh was actually going to suggest that, thought you would have had it already!

    Eircom up here in Wicklow anyway was acting like a pile of crap a week or two ago. I had actually switched off open DNS a while ago, but it's like the magical solution to all eircom related problems!

    Yeah, I've read all about Eircom's DNS woes.

    But am with Vodafone BT, so it's the first time I've had any problems with their DNS.

    Ah well.. OpenDNS is more reliable anyways.

    Me too. It's been acting unusual for the last 3-4 days that I've noticed.

    It seems to load the plain text after an age, takes another half minute trying to load the rest but then finishes loading with no formatting or images.

    Edit: Basq's DNS fix above also worked for me, cheers

    Change your DNS settings as I mentioned above... this will fix it.
