My brother was in Dominican Republic last year and a girl at work honeymooned there in June... both thought it was absolutely amazing and both were gushing about it afterwards. I'd say you couldn't really go wrong!

My brother and his girlfriend went 5 days in Vegas and a week in Dominican as part of the deal. The girl from work just went a week to Dominican. Both seemed happy with their choices! Oh actually ANOTHER girl from work was saying she'd been there years ago and loved it too :D so three out of three! I'm afraid I can't help you with who they booked it through and how much and all that though! It might be worth also looking through English companies like Thomas Cook and Thomson as, when we were booking ours, we did consider Dominican Republic and we could have got a week for the two of us for about £1400 or something like that.

Yeh, we looked at all three and settled on Mexico. I think it just had more of a draw for both of us. I just have it in my head that the others would be more resort centred (even though we don't plan on leaving the resort much :D ) so yeh, I don't think you could go wrong with any of the three. Dominican republic seems to be the cheapest though so just shop around and decide which one you prefer! They all sound great to be honest! Everyone I work with seem to have been to at least one of the three and none of them have a bad word to say about it!

Been to both Orlando and Dominican Republic in the last 5 years. Orlando is great if you have kids. Lots of theme parks etc.

Dominican Rep. is bit like The US's Spain. It's cheap for them to travel there and it's not too far away. There's lots of families and the all inclusive places aren't really all inclusive as you're expected ot tip a dollar every time you get a drink - sucks a bit.
