    Anyone taken it up or know of anyone who has, it looks like a good rate of 5.46%

    That rate of 5.46 is for the 18 months. The annual rate works out at 3.6% - you can get better rates than that with a lower minimum deposit .

    You can get a better rate than 3.60%. EBS offer 3.71% for 10 months.
