Cotton Tights?

The materials tights are normally made from are a bit awkward, so I was thinking some cotton tights would be more comfortable. I've mostly worn trousers the last few years so it's only now I'm really getting used to tights again.

I'm not sure where to get them though. I want them as opaque as possible too, don't want people seeing my hairy legs.

I'm 99% certain Marks & Spencer have cotton tights - not sure if they are 100% cotton though, or a blend.

You need a blend with lycra or something otherwise they'll be all baggy and won't stay up.

Agreed with above...I bought the ones from Dunnes a few months ago and they go saggy so quick and can be kinda itchy :(

Yes, I got a pair and they wouldn't stay up at all, and quickly filled with wholes... cost me €14, very upset about this.

if its black tights youre looking for the 120 denier ones from Penneys are brill - they are lycra but I find them so good. Also got some fleece lined ones in there recently and I love them - I thought theyd be too warm but they are fine!

Lots of places stock cotton in winter, but I'm not sure where you'd get them this time of year. Perhaps try department stores with a large hosiery section? I agree with ams though, the really thick Penneys ones are great! I tend to buy a size bigger than I actually need so they don't feel too tight, and I find them really comfortable!

If you want to wear cotton tights, because they are breathable and more hygienic, some of the more expensive pairs of tights will have a breathable cotton gusset.

there is a great Italian brand called Solidea...they are really nice..and have the cotton gussets... I got them in Italy, but if you do a search for them, I'm sure they are for sale here too

They have black cotton tights in Pennys. They look lovely and cosy but I guess they wouldn't wash well.
