Creeping in the gym

    is it appropriate to chat a girl up in the gym?

    Also, a girl last week who I don't know started talking to me in the gym. (I wasn't very responsive), was she giving me an indicator of interest?

    I would HATE it if a man chatted me up in the gym. I feel already on the back foot what with no makeup, sweaty red face and limbs akimbo. I would probably just laugh nervously and leg it.

    The only way I can see it working is if you were to delay afterwards (if there was a cafe or something around) and when you see her coming out and dressed normally then maybe approach her and say that you've seen her in the gym and would she like a coffee? That would be better.
