I'm looking at a car and the current owner has sent me a picture of a dent that's on it. Just wondering if anyone knows a rough cost to get the dent removed? It's in quite an awkward place, as the pic shows.

It won't 'pop' anyway - not that any dents ever do. I watched PDR guy do a dent last month and it took about 30 minutes with levers, blowtorches, tiny hammers and polishing after.

Bodyshop circa 350, SMART repair by someone near you probably 120-150

Assuming the blow torch was used to soften the metal, how was it applied without damagin the paintwork or was it stripped back.

It wasn't. The blowtorch was used to warm tools.
