UDraw GameTablet - making the Wii into a DS, sort of?

    It sounds quite interesting to me, assuming the software that uses it is up to scratch. I like the idea of Crayon-Physics style gameplay without having to use the wiimote as a pointer, so there's potential there.

    Two things I'm surprised at, though:
    1) It's taken this long since the launch of the DS for someone to say "Hmm, what about doing something similar with the Wii?"
    2) It's not Nintendo releasing this accessory. This seems significantly less gimmicky than most 3rd-party accessories, so I'm surprised Nintendo didn't beat THQ to the punch.

    With an expected launch of the Wii 2/HD for christmas I will wait til then, when all these things will be discounted!

    If Nintendo finally release a console that offers DVD (and, dare I say it, Blu-Ray) playback as well as web content streaming, I'd be delighted to buy it. Past performance suggests I shouldn't hold my breath, though.

    I think it looks like a great little gadget, my daughter would love it, but Its just too pricey at the moment. 50 pound sterling is 20 too much for me.
