I reseeded some ground last autumn but never got to spray it once it was established as it was too late. However I want to get it done in the next month.

Allot of chick weed coming up. There is clover so the spray would need to be sensitive to this.

Can someone recommend what Post emergence spray to use.

    Many Thanks

Asulox (not sure of spelling) works well for chickweed. Give it about 3 1/2 pints to the acre and it will clear it in no time

If you have no clover then MCPA is the best you can go fairly strong with it look at label. Duplusan ( is it CCMP or CMPP) is no longer approved for grassland it seems that it showed up on the back fat of finishing cattle how they made out that it from grass as opposed to grain i do not know I think you can still use it on grain however I may be wrong

in the same boat, got a load of docks in resseded field wasnt able to get in to spray post emergence. was told that eagle was good for ground with lots of clover and docstar for grass with no clover. have soem chick weed too in places will see if that does the job too.

Eagle is a waste of time as is all the other clover safe dock sprays.you have to go year after year and sometimes twice with it to knock them and never get them killed as good as say dock star .it is part of the reason why I don't use clover in my seed mixes and also tetraplid seeds.from my own experience clover can take over in a sward and smother out the grass and also tetraplids leave the swards too open and the combination of both leads to lots of docks.saying that I do have docks but keep on too of them with knapsack and tractor sprayer

    Arse,

Kinda annoyed as these fields had docks in them so when we reseeded was hoping to be dock free. Sprayed it to kill off the old grass and weeds.
