People that people like

It seems that every time there is a thread made about some celebrity the first response is "he's a moron" or "she's looks like a well chewed toffee".

So, besides my mother (or my mothers mother, my sister, my father or any other family member), who do AH's people actually like?

I for one think that Ray Mears is a total legend.

......and no, he's not a moron.

    Huge fan of David Tennant.

Imo the best of all the Doctor's, and all round a fantastic actor and genuinely nice Scottish bloke.

Karl Pilkington. I'm sure there are people out there who hate the guy (other than himself), but I've yet to meet 'em.

I reckon Karl Pilkington is a modern day jesus. I reckon his writings will someday constitute the gospels of a new bible.

I would go as far as to say that Dudess is probably the best person ever. Well, at least on boards. Michael Scofield isn't on boards.ie.......yet.

I literally have no idea what a crawler is. In fact, I'm going to delete my post in case it makes me sound like something awful.

A crawler isn't someone who breaks out of prison is it? Because if it is then I am happy.

Brian Fallon for me...comes across as a humble down to earth guy.

There was also something likeable about Forrest Griffin in his early UFC days but he seems to have lost it recently.

The world is filled with beautiful, inspirational, ingenious, brave people.

I delight in the works of Stephen Hawking, for example. His humour and clarity of description has brought ideas in physics and cosmology, two of the most fascinating disciplines there are, to the layperson which otherwise would have remained esoteric. I genuinely think that the world would benefit greatly if more people read his books, or even watched his lectures on YouTube.
