Yes, my point of view is as follows. What makes you feel entitled to other people's money?

I don't keep myself up to date with private citizens' tax certificates, is there someone you're thinking of specifically?

I can't help but think this is a question of ethics rather than of economics. I don't see it as a burning issue of fiscal importance in any stretch of the imagination. The tax rules are in place, it isn't a private citizens' responsibility to pay more tax than is legally required of him.

Thats more than I've ever done for the community, fair play to them if someone builds a hospital wing - I would consider that as quite a gift to the community. Every Irish citizen is entitled to an Irish passport, its their right. Your post is quite hard to understand.

There certainly should be more pressure put on them.

Where are the media on this? Why is independent newspapers not highlighting this problem or TV3 or newstalk..... is it because they are owned or part owned by these tax avoiding patriots.

I would prefer this billionaire to build a hospital-wing with the money, rather than giving it to the government who will just give it to the banks.

Low quality 'eat the rich' thread is low quality.
