hi guys, sorry if this is in the wrong forum. I've a few questions for ye, 1. My mom got an 02 broadband contract for 18 months, only checked today and the contract expired in December 2010, we never got a letter to say we had to renew it, but still using internet now. she wants to cancel it now, will there be a fee to pay if she does?

2 im a student so i want to take a contract of my own with 02 cause its much cheaper, can i buy a sim and still use my moms modem?

    thanks for any info

    1. She won't have to pay anything to cancel.
    2. I think you should be able but I'm not sure why you would. The most obvious thing to do is you take over paying for the BB. That way you get the cheaper contract rate without the year tie-in. Other than that my understanding is that you get a *free* modem when you sign up for the contract.
