That Skoda Segment?

I had meant to come here just after the show aired but of course I forgot all about it. Having just been on Menupages.ie there was an advert where Skoda Ireland were listing the praise the Yeti received on Top Gear.

So what was that segment all about? In all the years of the new format Top Gear I don't think there has ever been such a thorough and positive review of a very normal car.

Was it a joke? Was some deal struck between Top Gear and Skoda? It was funny, interesting but completely out of place so I'm all curious.

A few years ago they got/made up a viewer complaint letter about them not testing normal cars properly

Jeremy went out and did the most thorough test of a Ford Fiesta possible

I think it was so well liked that they have decided to one per season now, can't remember what one they did last year but pretty sure there was one

They did, a small renault I think. I remember they had it on top of the harland and wolff cranes.

The Fiesta one was the best, by far.
