you need to figure out first what size 7 seater you need. the trajet is much bigger and has the full size seats and the zafira has the 2 seats in the boot and you have no space for much else when they are in use. the zafira will be better on juice, them trajets can be fairly heavy on petrol.

Diesel Zafira by quite an amount I would think barring unusually high maintenance costs.

    thanks for the replys
the seven seats wont be in use all the time but the trajet do have more space when there are all in use and where as the opel doesnt but i didnt want to buy something that was going to be to heavy on petrol/diesel

just another question do you think there would be much difference in the tax for them?

so r the parts more expensive on the zafira than the trajets?

sorry for all the question just dont have money to waste at the moment

If they are older than 2008 the tax on the Hyundai will be slightly more than the Opel, parts for the Opel would be cheaper. What I meant was that the Opel should be cheaper to run unless lots goes wrong with it.

id say the trajet will be heavier on fuel, and timing belt changes can be very expensive on some models. but its also a much more roomy car, and reliability is very good., later spec ones came with leather, alloys, privacy glass and were really very nice.

the zafira will be a bit more cramped, and a bit more of an opel (insert yawn here). it will be cheaper on fuel if you do a high mileage.

It will actually be the same - you forgot that the 1.9CDTi engine is 1910cc, and therefore taxed as a 2.0. I'll let you off this time ;):D

Zafira will be the cheaper one to run I'd say. Fuel cost will be quite a bit lower, and I'd say the Opel will be cheaper to service. Not much goes wrong with either vehicle from memory, as long as it's the 120ps engine (and let's face it - it's Ireland so it's bound to be the 120ps).
