Do you know where I might get an ORC Release Bearing for a Honda Integra DC2 in Ireland or the UK? Need one ASAP.

If someone has one lying at home, I could take it and replace it for you. I can get them in Japan but dont have the luxury of waiting for it to arrive.

Tuning Factory used to deal with them but no more.

I have an OEM DC2 in my civic nice upgrade from standard and is good for 200bhp but i want to change my engine to a B18 and when i do this ill be looking at an Ogura i was just a bit worried about living with it on a daily basis specially in traffic.

Its unreal when your on a track, the only time I find it a hinderance is you know when your coming up to a turn say into an estate or whatever, you slow down using the gears, then I change down from 3rd to 2nd to turn the corner, the thing nearly launches you out the window unless your going slow enough!

Just an aside to this in case someone googles this very problem the bearing is in two halves

In this pic the OEM Honda one is on the left and the Ogura one is on the right

Here is the Ogura one split apart

The Carrier and the Bearing can be bought seperately from www.rhdjapan.com

In my attempts to actually get this bearing in Ireland the OGURA bearing is actually an NSK Bearing Model no. TK40-1B2. I then found out KOYO do the same bearing RCT4067 and Nachi (Honda OEM bearings) 40TSK-2.

I rang the companies here that deal with NSK & Koyo and they found the bearing only existed in American and Australia. They didnt want to import it for me through their suppliers as the bearing only cost a Tenner. (No wonder companies here are going to the wall) In the end ive had to order it from RHD Japan
