Hi all,

Am planning a trip to finland this summer, which will include a rental car. I'm only 20 but in Finland you can rent a car aged 20 once you have had your license for over a year, which I have.

I have been told by the rental company that a security deposit will be taken by way of a hold on a credit card to the sum of a whopping €950. I've one sight problem. Being a student, the limit on my credit card is €600.

Anyone any idea what happens in relation to this and ideas on how to solve it?!

You will need to check with your card company, but some you can put credit on, so if you paid €350 onto your account, you would have the €950 you need.
