Sky wireless magic eye advice

I am completely fed up with UPC. Everytime i use remote it switches to the very annoying info channel. UPC came out to fix it but it has started again and now the record box has failed for the third time.
I would like to switch to Sky but don't have a landline so can't get multi room. Sky said i could get a wireless magic eye as i don't want cables running right through to the back of the house.
What is the best option. And best wireless sender/
Do they actually work or will i end up with my head wrecked with it.
We generally use one room in the winter and move into the other room in the summer.

I don't want to sign up to Sky and find out that i end up limited to one room
    Any advice would be appreciated

Just use a UPC phoneline instead of an eircom one.

The Sky box callback works over UPC in some areas. The way I tested was to plug the UPC phoneline into my laptop modem and set up a dial - up connection.

When it worked I knew well that the Sky box's call would work.
