wireless or ethernet connection

Am about to switch over to upc for my broadband so my router will be next to my tv and hence my ps3. I've had no problems with the wireless connection but would wonder if I connected with an ethernet cable will it be an improvement.

I watch a lot of tv on-line (be it rte player or elsewhere) and on occasion the streaming can be slow, so has anyone an experience of switching to ethernet or would I just be adding to the clutter of cables behind my telly.

A wired connection will always be more reliable than wireless but to be fair, the wireless signal depends on a few factors including the environment and the quality of the router itself.

Long story short: wired is better than wireless

Ethernet is always more reliable, if you can cable it then do so. If you cant then wireless is your second option.
