iPhone 3GS - White Screen

Hi, I was wondering if anyone could help me.
Thismorning while using my iPhone, the screen started going crazy jumping all around the place, finally to end up with just a white screen. I thought maybe it was something to do with the software, however after putting the phone in recovery mode and reinstalling the iOS, its still the same.
So after a bit of googling, I found out it could be something to do with the screen connector being loose, which would seem right (dropped my iPhone last week).

The one thing is I'm concered about is will Apple fix this for me under the Warranty (I have one month left), or will they refuse to as there is slight wear and tear (very slight) around the phone?
Also where would be the best place to go with it, as I dont want to be too long without my phone!

    Thanks in advance,
    Patrick

Would the Apple Store in Belfast be able to look at my phone and tell me whats wrong/fix it, even though I bought it in the South?

I'm not sure about warranty because you dropped it but the screen connection is relatively easy to get to if you wanted to check it yourself. Although that would definitely void the warranty.

I was thinking of fixing it myself, I'm really tempted to, but I know that would definitly void the warranty. I'm going to wait until I show them, and if they won't fix it, I'm planning on taking it apart myself. Looks fairly simple, but knowing me I'll end up wrecking it :p

Apple Store in Belfast, even if bought in the south, will look at this for you, and may even swap you a replacement iPhone there and then...

Or else call Apple directly on 1850 94 61 91

They are excellent at replacing phones, do not worry about general wear and tear...
