Hey, I was wondering could anyone help or tell me what's going on ha. I have a Toshiba laptop, it's around 4 years old, but still works well, anyway around Christmas the screen broke or rather the bulb inside which allows u to see the screen broke. Since then, I've connected it to my tv, as I haven't gotten around to getting a new one, or well more honestly I haven't bothered. Anyway, strangest thing, literally 20 minutes ago, I turned on my laptop and the screen just came on by itself.

I'm half afraid to turn it off now, in case it stops working again, does anyone who knows about this knows why it started working again, does it happen often and will it stay working? Thanks in advance for any replies

It could be something as simple as a dodgey connection. It's hard to diagnose.

It could be cheap to fix or expensive to replace. Potentially all you'd have to do is reseat the power cable in the hinge, or replace the ballast/inverter. or at worst, replace the screen.
