You might be overdoing it a bit on a rimfire calibre that has a rather limited effective range on any sort of animal you can lawfully hunt with it. If I were you I'd invest in a good conventional scope with quality glass.

It depends which one your one about?? The burris eliminator is the one that calculates the bullet drop at the given distance then a red dot appears on the reticle to show you where to aim...I've never used or seen one but i'm nearly sure Erzidax has one!

The one that has the range finder in the scope I have not used either but have used the bushnell one.. Basically the exact same only different brand name! Bushnell, burris and nikon all brought out the same model with small differences.

I have the bushnell yardage pro 4-12x42 scope on a .270 and find it very good! The bushnell ones have extra elevation turrets that you suit to your own rifle. i.e. range a target at a random distance, turn the elevation turret to the marked distance and bang!

I'm selling mine as I'm taking a break from stalking next year due to my final year in collage!:( That reason and the fact that i'll want another rangefinder for my 22-250 so it would be more suitable to have a handheld one as opposed to having one in a rifle scope!

From what I can remember the Burris does not have the BDC turrets but it has the option of a sunshade!;)

Selling one if interested, burris eliminator. Might be a bit over kill for a rimfire though. Bought it last June/July great scope and the bullet drop comp is great. Got left a top range Zeiss scope thats the reason for selling. PM me if interested.
