What sites do you regularly visit beyond, for example:
    Boards.ie
Whatever email service you might use
Whatever online banking service you might use
Whatever phone service you might use
    Facebook
    Youtube
    Downloady websites of questionable legality
    Wikipedia
    Porn

I'm pretty much out of ideas, and I'm bored. There must be more to the internet than this

Remove facebook and throw in wikipedia and you're right, that would pretty much sum up my internet usage. I wouldn't say I'm bored though, I barely have enough time for that much as it is

Just a few sites that are 'different' that I happen to be on:

IMFDB: http://www.imfdb.org/index.php/Main_Page All the guns in movies, ever.

Boston Globe - The Big Picture: http://www.boston.com/bigpicture/ Astonishing set of pictures of global events that are update regularly. Their series on Afghanistan is superb.

Badass of the Week is always fun too: http://www.badassoftheweek.com/

Apparently there's certain sites you can view pics and clips of scantily clad wimmin doing all kinds of dirty stuff. Have never been able to find it myself. It must be well well hidden and no one bothers looking at it much

I'm pretty insular myself on the web, I don't use much more than my basics, lastfm, here, facebook, youtube( i use the **** out of that) my fav documentary site and democratic underground to keep abreast of American Politics.. for my gaming I use Steam and iRacing.

Everything else would be random clicks I make from here or my google talk if someone links funnies, which are 9 times out of 10 going to be youtube anyways.

Stumble upon is great if you're bored shi**less and want to find new stuff.

If you want online excitement, find a good *chan board and get involved with Anonymous.

I tried that once, I seriously cannot make heads nor tails of the ****ty 4chan message board..

    I'm pretty open minded.
I'll look at any website. The only minimum criteria I have is that it must contain lots of links to rapid share files of porn movies I can download.

I never said 4chan. There are many other chans and a lot of them are used far more extensively for Anonymous stuff.
Can't link to them here though, they all have gorno in the headers to prevent media websites from linking to them :P

I hate cracked :( I spend like 5 or 6 hours on it at a time sometimes! It's so easy to get lost in there!

I use cracked.com, postsecret.com. mydrunktexts.com and some other stuff I can't think of right now.

TED.com - some great stuff on there, ebay/amazon and so on for my ever expanding collection of useless crap. Also bluelight, erowid and the likes, help ensure i don't kill myself given my (admittedly, ever dwindelling) propensity for ingesting various chemicals. Oh, and paddypower.com to ensure my financial ruin is complete!

The internet kicks ass, best invention ever!

Thanks OP, I needed this thread also. Was sitting here bored silly.

Myself and stumble upon are about to get each other better.

I really like this site. That story I linked to is one of the funniest things I have read in a long time - especially if you like dogs. I was sick with laughter. I drip feed myself the stories - the drawings are just as good as the stories.
