Is there due to be one? I got an e mail about the vat standard rate possibly going up (Iknow the 13.5% rate is due to go to 12%) due to same as part of Fine Gaels first 100 days in government pledge

There are rumours floating about the web that it could happen but, for now, they are just that. As far as I know, there is nothing solid to support claims of a budget in 2011 before the normal one in december.

There doesn't appear to be any serious need for an interim budget. The IMF-European crisis mechanism response is largely on course to meet targets.

Unless there is some major fiscal policy shift due for implementation by FGLAB (which there is not, nor shall there be) then there's no need for an interim budget.
