I want to send 2 bottles of wine I have here that you can't get in the UK to a mate in the UK. An Post and DHL seem to charge huge amount for the service, does anyone know of a cheaper way to do it?

Unfortunately the cheapest way to send a couple of bottles to the UK is to send them individually but it will still cost you €10.75 a pop. Quite expensive if adding to the price of a single bottle of Wine.

Anything 2kgs and under and as long as it is not too big can be sent as a packet.

Once you go over 2kgs they really hike up the prices. 2 bottles sent together will cost you €27.50 if you can keep it under 2.5 kgs or €31 if under 3kgs...
