Hello, Im new to cycling this year and looking to get a licence so i can ride in races. Im not sure if i should join for "Club comp" , "full comp" or "Introductry member". Also there more options in full comp from A+ to A4. Im have only recently joined my local club and will have to pay a membership fee, does this fee cover my Club comp licence or Full comp licence?
Some help would be greatly appreciated !! Thanks Dbrasco

My understanding of CI licences is:

Club comp allows you to take part in your club's own weekly races
Introductory covers you for going on club spins
full comp is road and offroad racing
restricted means you can race road OR off road

You pay your clubs membership fee and then pay the club rate for your CI licence upon approval of your club secretary.

Introductory (or non-competition) will also cover you for sportives and audaxs.
