The actor and television presenter was touring Connemara last year and filming a minority language programme, when he filmed a cameo with the soap.
He will play a bewildered English tourist who gets more than he bargains for when he wanders into the premises of Ireland's crankiest publican!

If he walked into a real pub trying to speak the obscure lingo of the minority, someone would probably offer to straighten his nose for taking the piss.

Can he actually speak any Irish or is he just learning specific lines? Matt Damon "speaks" about a dozen languages in the Bourne movies but he readily admits it's simply learning off the words like a poem.

Surely it won't be on YouTube until it's broadcasted?

Indeed. I'm sure I can control my anticipation until then :)

Irish or English would be nice; can barely understand the feckin' country accent. :p

Home and Away. Donald was trying to get the nerve up to declare his love for Marilyn when Palin came up behind them acting odd and wanting to know about sharks in the water. If you google for it there is video of it online.
