Check if ownership on car has gone through

Bought a car 2 weeks ago and the garage said they send in the log book for change of ownership to shannon. I still haven't received the new log book. Can I ring up shannon and ask them if they have received the log book for my new car?

Go to www.motortax.ie and click on vehicle transaction enquiry on the left hand side and then enter the car reg in the box.
This will tell you if any transactions have taken place on the car in the last 3 months.

Change Of Vehicle Ownership
No Changes notified in the last 3 months
Vehicle Registration Certificate
No Vehicle Registration Certificate issued in the last 3 months

The tax is out so not to pleased as you can imagine.

Will need to ring garage again as they haven't rang me back with an update
