i'm looking for either ready made cushion filler pads, or else loose filling that i can determine the size of the finished article myself.

if anyone knows where i could find these in a bricks & mortar or online i'd be grateful to hear from ya. i saw some in ikea the last time i was there but wasn't very impressed with the quality though they'd do if i couldn't find an alternative.

    thanks!

Tesco sell very cheap pillows that you could push the filling down to one end and seam across to make a square cushion.

If you have any old continental quilts they are full of exactly the stuff you are looking for. Even to buy a cheap single quilt you would get a load of filling and fabric to make covers out of, just unpick the stitching that goes all the way through the quilt (not usually much).

Actual cushion pads are a silly price for what they are and alternatives are very easy to make.

I was just about to say tesco or ikea! They sell cushions and pillows so cheaply.

I needed filler for something and stupidly bought proper filler... and afterwards I had that light bulb moment. I'm normally petty savvy when it comes to finding little cheats... live and learn!

Heatons have ones for 2.99 each, cheapest I've seen but I've never been to Ikea, they could be a better quality.
