I seem to recall they had one of these sales not so long ago.... any boardsies venture to it? If so, was it any use? Arnotts stuff is normally so expensive that 70 per cent would only bring it back to normal levels!

Might pick up some 'electical' items, whatever they are :p

I went to one of them before, didn't even get into the place there were so many people there. The industrial estate it's in was packed, couldn't get parking at all so I left.

    waste of time.

it's just a mediocre sale 10% of tvs, 50% of some stuff, 70% of very much damaged furniture.

some ipads that were 20-50 quid of their RRP, i don't know much about ipads so i'll leave that to someone else to see if they were actually cheaper that the normal arnotts.

worst part is that it is not an "everything must go sale" ... i was told by two staff that if it does not sell, they'll just hang onto the stock.

and the original prices they are quoting are from 2 years ago ... they had was 799 on a tv when in store it was 649, and the reduction was to 599!!!

all i can say it that it was a huge scam ...

there was at least one other boardie there as they were asking where we heard of this sale ....

Wow, the must be going to give the stuff away for nothing if there are queues forming 24 hours before the sale even starts

Been to 2 of them before.

You can really get some good bargains here, especially on bedding, kitchen, housewares etc.

I think the electrical stuff isn't as good, most of it seems to be old models they want to get rid off - if that works for you then it's probably a good thing.

If you're looking to furnish your home, I'd definitely go along. We bought a house and bought some great stuff, e .g. Villeroy & Bosh sets for a great price.

Yep. They do small appliances too.

Usually it's worth the trip and the cashier queue moves quickly enough. Parking is a bit mental mind.
