Flight sales high season

Is there any point hanging on for flight sales during the peak summer months? We're planning on heading to Lanzarote the last week in August, currently @ €280, any chance since kids are heading back to school that sale prices might apply then?

I think that is a very good deal to be honest. I paid nearly double that for three people four weeks ago ( and there were lots of empty seats on the plane).

I would book now.
