Anyone played Rathsallagh recently? I'm thinking of playing the open on Friday but if it's not in great nick at the moment then I might play somewhere else.

I played it recently in the Garden County Trophy. I thought it was in very good condition for the time of year. Be aware that the clubhouse is closed and they are using the country house instead.

    back on topic..

played it last two wknds in a row. course is in great nick, altho being winter golf youll find your drives plugging in some areas. altho after this week being so dry that mightnt be an issue.

greens are the highlight and bitch hard to read. fantastic challenge.

most important thing to remember is: off the tee keep your eyes on where the ball lands with somekind of reference point... esp. if you land in thick schtuff.

    great value @ €20
