Hey,
There might be a thread for these questions, if so then I'm sorry but anyway

I started playing Minecraft about 5 or 6 weeks ago and got a mate to give it a go too. So I wanted to play in the same world as him, but no matter how I try, I just can't set up a server.

I was just wondering if anyone can make it clearer to me why I can't download the server thing off the site or whether there is an irish server out there open to anyone. I'm not looking to participate in any projects with ppl, I just wanna mess around with a friend and need a server to do so.

starting a multiplayer server is great. its how me and tallon got started before this server was set up.

have a look here and if you have any questions after there are people on here who can try and answer your questions.
