Has anyone had any negative dealings with this company?

I dont think saying 'Highlife' is enough information. I know you mean a ski company from looking at your other posts, but youll really need to outline your own issue with them in order to get constructive feedback.

If you are talking about the Ski company, then no. Used them a few years ago and they were fantastic.

High end chalet holiday company with a fairly decent reputation in terms of delivering 5 star holidays in 3 French resorts.

They offer a good service but you will get more for the same money from similar UK operators.

If you want to spend a little extra and get a high end trip they are the best Irish option

I'm just back after having a disastorous experience with them.

Our chef in the challet served disgusting/inedible food, (couldn't even cook an egg in the morning)

Everyone else in the airport who used Highlife seemed to have an excelent time with fully qualified chef/delicious food so we may have just got unlucky but that just compounded our frustration.

I'm in the process of complaining, will post in detail after.

Have book next seasons trip with them already, will be the third year going with them - if you pick the right week you will get a great value trip.

They think they are providing 5 Star service and they are just not. The only problem is they are charging 5 Star prices. What shocked me is the staff out there are only paid €65 per week for a 70 hour week. It's disgraceful.

I went with them two years ago and the holiday was very low standard. We gave them another chance this year to make up. This time was better but still no way the level they are charging for.

I found them very hard to deal with. All they seemed to be bothered about was getting money out of us. Because one our group had to drop out due to illness in the family they came back to the rest of us and demanded the discount they originally gave. I refused to pay any more, for what was an overpriced holiday to start with, and they basically said if I didn't pay I couldn't travel. What really annoyed me is they took the final payment, cashed the cheque and then demanded the extra. I spoke to one of the owners and he was even worse. Their whole attitude stank.

I won't be using them again. There are other providers giving the same standard of holiday for nearly half the price and not just out there to rip people off.

I've also heard very bad things about highlife, especially outlining them demanding money constantly. Very offputting. Also heard from 1 particular from the food was never ready on time, at least 40 mins, everyday for everyr mealtime, tasted and thrown on a plate like babyfood. I've never used them but I regard my friends opinions highly and would never go near them. You have better food, service and craic in a normal apartment block.
