Just thought if anyone is interested there is a good gardening/horticultural society which meets in the cookery room at St. Eithne's School, Edenmore, Dublin 5. Entrance is via the back gate in Glenayle Road. Meetings are on a Tuesday night, tea and biscuits provided. Club Members 4 Euros, Visitors 5 Euros Spring Programme is:- 15th March, Christopher Heavy - "Some principles of Garden Design"; 29th March Society Members - "Dressing up a Garden Container"; 12th April - Paul Maher, Botanic Gardens - "Plants and their Lifestyles"; 26th April - Shane McThomais - "History of Dublin Cemeteries".

I have moved to the Scartaglen/Ballydesmond area on the Cork/Kerry border and would be interested to know of local clubs as they don't tend to show up in google searches? Does anybody know of clubs in my area? Thanks
