My Daughter dropped her DS the other day about two feet onto a tiled floor. Unfortunately it appears to have broken.

While there's no obvious damage to it, it won't power up. I've tried re-seating the battery, & giving it a full charge - charge light works & it appears to accept the charge, in that it lights off after some time.

Anywhere in Dublin I can drop it into to see if it's fixable ?

yes but most repair shops would cost around dublin €100 to repair Nintendo DS and Nintendo DS-lite second hand is €69-€79 in any GAME/HMV/Gamestop, Nintendo DSi second hand is €99-€110 in any GAME/HMV/Gamestop,Nintendo DSi XL second hand is €110-€130 in any GAME/HMV/Gamestop.

And there are Nintendo DS-lite and Nintendo DSi protective cases for €10-€15 in any GAME/HMV/Gamestop, to prevent the Nintendo DS-lite and Nintendo DSI from breaking.

Nintendo DSIXL protective wallets for €10-€15 in any GAME/HMV/Gamestop,to prevent the Nintendo DSIXL from breaking.
