downloading and playing movies- basic please

    Hi
    Would anyone be able to run me through the best sites for downloading movies etc and playing them on my tv..an idoits guide to setting it up would be great - Im not completely computer illeterate but am no techie...I know its got something to do with utorrent and getting a dvd player that can play files off my harddrive...what about divx??
