I have been involved in a case going on a number of years now and now im beginning to doubt my solicitor.

He has just said that the best thing to do now would be that you pay me and we try and get the plaintiff to pay his solicitor.

The barrister reckons that i have a good case but im not sure what to think. Is it the norm that solicitors would request this. I think he is concerned that if it did go to court and if i did win that the plaintiff wouldnt have any money to pay both solicitors fees.

If the plaintiff couldnt pay if i won what would happen?

I don't think it's appropriate to seek or give advice of this nature in this forum. My Co-mods may disagree, so closed pending further review.
