I'm having my stag in Galway on the first weekend of April. I'm looking to do something inexpensive on the Saturday for a few hours to keep the 20 or so of us out of the pub and bars. Any suggestions??

Yeah looking at that place,,, looks good and probably a runner, we're also thinking of deep sea fishing but looks expensive. Any other options, is there anything happening around the city that weekend.

Galway United have a home match on the 1st of April. It's the Connacht Derby against Sligo Rovers.

could go for a stroll on the prom in salthill out as far as the driving range at the end of it,if you get good weather it will cure the head and kill a few hours.pints outside lonergans in the sun after!day trip to aran maybe an option.

Count all the grass blades in a cubic metre in Eyre Square.

+1 for the clay pigeon shooting.
I did it a few years ago and was a good way to blow away the cobwebs:D
