Unread forums when they're not

I'm getting that little star beside the forum in "My Forums" at the top of the White skin, that indicates that a forum has unread threads, even though there is none. i marked the forum read just to be sure, yet it still appears. It's happening for the NUIG forum under Edu, and afaik that's the only one it's happening to.

it's happening with the NUIG forum again. tried marking all forums read, but still showing up
