Would love a quick run down on both of these.

Which would be the best performer? Im more drawn to the P226.

    Thanks guys :)

KJW P226 - Lovely weight and Balance. Comes with a nice metal slide. Very easy to strip & Clean, actually, it's silly easy. If memory serves correctly, they are usually firing somewhere around .84 of a joule...may increase slightly & also get more shots if you replace the slide with a lighter plastic one (Tokyo Marui). Biggest downside, as with most GBB's are the mag's. If you don't look after them, they will leak.

KJW M9 - Gas or Co2 - Lovely, lovely, lovely.....did I mention lovely?? My own preference is the CO2 version. It cycles the metal slide easier and gives a nice kick. Power wise, it's somewhere around .94/95 (Co2). Again, silly easy to strip and clean. Look after the mags and the pistol and this will keep going and going.

Which would you recommend on shear performance?

Both are the same price so just trying to work out which is the best bang for buck :)

To be honest, I've long since converted to the religion of CO2 pistols. Due to that fact, I'd say the M9.

However, I have heard through the grape vine, that the KJW P226 X-five, which is Co2, but was too strong for Ireland, may be coming downgraded to just below 1joule soon. It's a smaller Pistol than the M9 and that would win out for me, as I've only got small hands.

In the current weather for the next few months I'd say the KJW M9 CO2 version.
I just bought one yesterday as my two KSC M9's don't like the cold weather so much and you barely get a mag out of a fill of gas.

It doesn't look or feel as good as the KSC version but it fires pretty sweetly in cold weather which is what I need right now :).

and fingers crossed they release the c02 version of the p226/229 :D that would be awesome

Forgot to say, the KJW pistols are usually a 1:1 copy of the TM pistols. Meaning, more often than not, parts for TM pistols will happily fit the KJW pistols. This includes the magazines etc.

    With rorky on htis.

I had a regular gas KJW M9 for a good 2 years, even threw in CO2 mags and it worked lovely, and that was the non hopup verison. I can only imagine how good the hop up version would be.

I have their 1911 model in co2 and its fantastic.

Will be picking up another KJW co2 m9 in months to come, superb pistol :)
